Quiet, out of town campsite with beautiful beach walks. Train passing by is noticeable but not a nuisance if you choose to ignore it.
Lovely place to stay. Nice view of the bay. If staying in camper van you will need levellers, the field is on an incline. There are animals to see, rabbits, birds, pigs etc so lovely for children. The cafe on site has very tasty food, the breakfast one of the best he had tasted (hubby's words!!). It is open to the visiting public as well so can get busy.
Facilities were great, although when we went it was quiet so would have been naturally clean.The locationThe autocratic dictatorship that reigned over the campsite wasn't a fan of any signs of 'fun' and it was extinguished before it could spark. A nice weekend away here if you find Soviet occupied East-Berlin exciting.
Nice camp site. Good quiet location with great views. Hard and soft standings with electric supply. Shop/cafe on site. Would recommend booking in high season.
This place is a little slice of heavenly. Totally unassuming family focused and family run campsite, for the price we paid I thought it was going to be just a field but the facilities are totally clean and fresh and actually really nice! It was fantastic actually because its in a farm and we took our toddler round to see the animals which she just loved.Our pitch looked right out over the flats and to the ocean with a view of Cumbrian coastline with twinkling lights in the evening.Really just a lovely place to go, welcoming and friendly hosts and well cared for site with plenty for the kids.Highly recommend!
