We enjoyed our stay at South Lakeland very much, we will come back again.
The pub restaurant is nice place to visit good views over the lake great friendly staff

Friendly staff, fantastic food. The perfect treat for the family. Varied menu and also a good kids menu too.
We stayed here for a week and had a great time. This is for more mature adults and older families as there is no kids clubs or entertainment, it does have a great pub/restaurant and a full gym. The swimming pool can be used for guests but it's a pool without slides as you would get at other holiday sites. That said there is loads to do locally and not to far from The lakes. I can imagine this place getting busier when the rest of it opens. I would highly recommend especially for rest and recuperation.
